2Chronicles 36:15-16
A different side of the “Old Testament” God (who really is the same yesterday today and forever).
The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place; but they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words, and scoffing at his prophets, till the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, till there was no remedy.
He PERSISTENTLY sent messengers to the people. Why?
Because He had COMPASSION on them and the place they lived.
BUT they kept mocking the messengers of God
Sound familiar? In the world we will have tribulation but be of GOOD CHEER I (Jesus) has over come the world. (John16:33-34)
Are we listening? Don’t shoot the messengers. Help us to listen Lord and do what you say.
